Pardon us while we countdown to a Major Milestone here at the Wolverine State Brewing Co.!
Back in January the intrepid and ever creative brewers made a little something they called "Imperial Dark Lager." Yours truly made a trip down to God's Country. a.k.a. Louisville, Kentucky and brought back some bourbon barrels. In a mere 6 more days, YOU will get your hands and taste buds on the result of this group project.
Massacre is an 11.5% abv Imperial Dark aged in these barrels and as I type this, the brewing and packaging engineering staff are hard at work putting final touches on the 4-packs. I'll shut up, and let the pictures speak for themselves....
