Hey kids! Things are certainly topsy turvey 'round the brewery and Tap Room these days. If you've been in lately you know what I'm talking about. The bathrooms are a jumble, the stock room is closed, there is a funny new door behind the bar and now (bonus points for this week) a bunch of asphalt trucks in the parking lot.....it's enough to drive you to drink. Oh. Right.
Anyway, here is your official Wench Update about all the chaos:
1. Right now the new ladies room is serving as a Unisex one. Be sure and lock the door behind you though, yeah?
2. The men's room is gutted and will be put back together, with MORE places for you boys to recycle your beer. ETA 5 days.
3. I will be taking reservations for The Wolverine Party Room, so named because I have not heard anything better, beginning the week after Thanksgiving. The room holds @ 75 people, you bring your own caterer but we have a KILLER catering set up room, just saying. You pay $50 an hour up front as a deposit plus the cost of all your beer consumed (in 15 ounce glasses only). You can decorate however you like. The room can be set up for seating but to be totally honest works best as a "bar" that is to say, with standing tables (available for rent) or a few smaller tables. It's perfect for your holiday office party, your casual engagement party, small class reunion, birthday, anniversary or other party, baby shower, you name it. I will have full details posted on the website in about a week.
4. They are improving the drainage in our parking lot finally (No More Lake Simon!) but that means our parking capacity is severely lessened. Bear with us AND REMEMBER DO NOT PARK IN THE BIKE SHOP FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. After hours you are welcomed to park at either Comerica Bank or the Realtor building on the other side of the bank (Again: AFTER 6 pm)
5. We have a kick ass music line up starting next week!

8. I, that is to say me, in otherwords your beloved Beer Wench will be serving beer this Wednesday 10/24! While simultaneously trying not to fuck up the cash register....And watching baseball.

11. (because I believe in odd numbers for karmic reasons) COME AND CARVE A PUMKPIN WITH US ON SUNDAY! from 2 pm we will have 15 nice ones, bring your carving tools, the kids, some snacks and your thirst!
