Why Are You Here?

Welcome to the Wench's World--the Wolverine State Brewing Company (A2) Beer Wench to be exact. If you've stumbled upon me, cool. If you've entered through the Wolverinbeer.com site, be warned! This is where the part owner/marketing and sales director of a craft microborewery Has Her Say! It may or may not be directly related to the company but it sure will be fun and many times profane as the circumstances warrant! Enjoy (or not) at your own risk!

Indulge in a Bit Of A Massacre--OR What is UP with That Machine?

Greetings Wench fans and even you not-so-keen-on me's.

I have some news to impart:
THE MASSACRE IS UPON US!
That is to say the beer that will be labeled with a reasonable facsimile of this label but with a slightly changed ABV (it's 11.5% not 13%) will be releasing on 10/11/12. HOWEVER and in the meantime, and in the interest of keeping the chaos to a minimum that day, we are gonna pre-sell 200 of the 4-packs via tickets beginning this Saturday, 9/15 at noon in the Tap Room. This beer is limited, special and oh so delicious. A rich Imperial Dark Lager that has been sitting around in Kentucky rye bourbon barrels for 5 months?  Yeah. That. Tickets are $20.99 per 4-pack. On the day of release 10/11/12 (I repeat because of its incredible marketing savvy and cleverness) a 4-pack will cost you $24.99.

Line up, no jostling, be nice, and don't miss out this Saturday in the Tap Room!

And in the realm of "beer in bottles" news--the brewers are proud to announce we have a new toy--one that will allow us to retire the wrist-cracking single label machine! That's right---the in-line labeler is HERE!

And just in case you were wondering, you can now get all 3 of our flagship, bottled beers at most metro Detroit Busch's NOW!

If you attend the Michigan home football games we will be at the October 13 and November 10 tailgate party with Ann Arbor's 107One in their party tent in the parking lot behind the Stadium (across from Pauline) with our delicious lagers and our Go Blue faces on!

Oh and uh, from the "gee I love my job" files, from last Saturday's event with the Air Force Rugby team...poor guys, didn't know what they were agreeing to did they?
muah!

cheers
Wench
