Yes, dearest Wench fans followers and others, it is that time of year again. Time to take a glance back.
As you of course already know it's been busy, successful, stressful, has abounded with learning opportunities about everything from timing, selling and how to get people to come out and drink beer on a Tuesday.
I for one welcome our 2nd summer of business, not only because I have the greatest staff in the universe but also because I need a second year of stats to really get my hands around the natural flow for the business.
As you know we have expansion plans in the wings and anticipate hearing something solid about that this week (so ..... as they say, "wait for it"). We also hope to fancy up our Beer Garden this summer after the parking lot is repaved. We've also done a great job of pissing people off without really trying (or knowing what we did).
So as I sit here in a quiet (and trashed--13 year old girls make a helluva mess) house contemplating a day of garage cleaning and other "traditional" activities I wish you, my beloveds, a Very Happy Summer's Eve...oh, wait, yeah, not that. More like a "Very Special Almost But Not Quite Summer Vacation" that is if you take vacations. oh hell you know what I mean.
Tip your craft beer to those who served today. They deserve at the very least, that.
Now, go have a picnic or something. The Tap Room is closed today.

On the Horizon: June 18 The Happy Hour Guys will be back in town! Remember them? They made the hilarious and kick butt video for us last fall?
